A year ago, we announced the beginning of our company’s transformation into a super-regional, less-than-truckload carrier. This major shift has involved providing our customers with one technology platform, as well as a North American network that combines the speed of our regional service with the scope of our long-haul network – all under a revitalized, Yellow Corporation brand.
The launch of MyYellow.com is an important part of that transformation. Soon it will be a fully functional online presence, a one-stop digital shop that allows customers of all our trucking companies to get rate quotes, plan shipments and track their freight from pick-up to delivery. In addition to making it faster and easier to do business with Yellow than ever before, MyYellow is designed to provide you with the most relevant, up-to-date information about our company, our services and the transportation industry at large.
That’s where our new blog comes in. We call it The Extra Mile.
Our goal at Yellow, of course, is to go the extra mile for our customers every single day, whether it is on the road, in our terminals, on the loading docks, or online. We have launched our blog with that same can-do spirit. We want The Extra Mile to be a trusted resource of well-researched, original content you cannot get anywhere else. We’ll provide the latest news and information about our efforts to keep the roads (and your shipments) safe, as well as our new initiatives related to environment, social and governance (ESG).
