Why can't the tracking system find my
freight bill number?
- The problem is most likely the formatting of the freight bill number itself.
- Freight bill numbers may vary in how they're formatted.
- Some freight bill numbers are formatted as PHI 067 361525 2.
- We need only the nine digits between the "PHI" prefix and the "2" suffix for Yellow tracking.
Why can't the tracking system find Bill of Lading or PO number?
- Bill of lading or customer purchase order numbers may describe more than one shipment.
- If the system finds more than one freight bill number when you enter a bill of lading number, you will be asked to
enter the shipment date. If this still does not match a single freight
bill number, you will need to
track by freight bill number.
- If the system finds more than one freight bill number when a PO number is entered, you will be asked to
enter the destination ZIP/postal code. If this does not match a single
freight bill number, you will
need to track by freight bill number.
